SMITH Tariff Classification System

The SMITH Tariff Classification System is an automated system which uploads a list imported part numbers and associated tariff classifications into Customs clearance programs.

This system enables the Smith import specialist to enter your product code directly into the customs entry, where the Tariff Classification System will assign the tariff code, OGA information, etc., ensuring full Regulatory compliance and proper payment of duties. We regularly review this list with each of our clients to ensure that we capture all changes to their product line as they happen.

Important Change in International Land and Sea Travel Document Procedures
Effective January 31, 2008, U.S. and Canadian citizens ages 19 and older should no longer expect that they will be able to prove identity and citizenship by relying on an oral declaration alone.
